Fiction

The book contains a collection of forty poems, some of which are translated from Odia. The poems center around an aware, sensitive and self-exploring 'me', addressing to an absent, mysterious, subtle and adored 'other', an inaccessible beloved being, who is sometimes explicit and sometimes implicit. These poems are an attempt to speak to him, to get him to speak back to 'me', and above all, to express 'my' love and passion, to eventually recover from suffering due to 'my love' and redeem 'my life'. The poems are painted with emotions of joy and sorrow at unions and separations, grief and hurt feelings contained by various themes with apt imagery metaphors and evocative language.
