Climate change has already ascended to the top of the list of world's woes. The Western countiries were the biggest polluters until a few decades ago. the developing countries must avoid the exceses indulged by the West and lean appropriate lessons. Nature knowns no political frontiers, whether for climate change or transboundary pollution.
The world has become waqrmer in the last 50 years, mostly due to human activities. The global temperature may increse by between 1.4 and 5.8*C with such consequences as rising sea level and amount and patern of precipitation.
