The Ultimate Gift is a book by Jim Stovall that revolves around wisdom, and lessons in life, whose two lead characters are Howard Red Stevens, and his great nephew, Jason. As a part of his will, Howard leaves for his great nephew a number of video messages based on the lessons of life. In total, there were 12 gifts, which provided lessons based on learning, money, work, friends, laughter, family, dreams, gift of giving, gift of problems, gift of a day, gratitude, and gift of love. The author tells the readers that these gifts will help them reach the ultimate gift, which is life itself.
Through the course of this book, Stovall explains these gifts in a manner that is easy for the reader to understand, and implement. In this book, Stovall makes use of the story of Red Stevens, and Jason, which keeps the readers engrossed throughout. This book throws light on the fact that life can be wonderful for an individual, if they desire to change their outlook in life. The Ultimate Gift truly helps the readers to understand the meaning of life by giving them hope of their future, and is a must-read for individuals of all age groups. About Jim Stovall
Jim Stovall is a renowned author, and humanitarian from America. Apart from this book, Stovall has written a number of other books, and they include The Ultimate Journey, Wisdom Of The Ages Embassy, The Ultimate Financial Plan: Balancing Your Money And Life, and A Christmas Snow.
Stovall completed his graduation degree from Oral Roberts University, and also received his Honorary Doctorate in Law from the university, in the year 2008. He has served as the President of the Narrative Television Network, which is geared towards making television accessible for the blind as well.
This initiative by Jim Stovall won him an Emmy-Award as well. Steve Forbes, CEO, and President of Forbes Magazine said that Stovall was one of the most extraordinary men in this era. He has also been selected as the Entrepreneur Of The Year by The President's Committee On Equal Opportunity. Additionally, Stovall was also elected the International Humanitarian Of The Year.
