She holds Masters in Law (LL.M) from University of Delhi and Ph.D in Law from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. She has an experience of more than 15 years in the area of teaching, training, research and consultancy. Her major areas of interest include Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Consumer Protection law and Policy, Environmental Management, Laws in Urban Management, Regulation of service sectors and Privatization. She has authored/ edited more than 20 books/ monographs and contributed more than 50 research papers in journals of repute. She was associated with a number of research studies in the area of consumer protection and consumer welfare, RTI and Evaluation of various government schemes. She has organized more than 200 training programmes, workshops, seminars and conferences for various stakeholders.
