Alice Calaprice was born in Berlin. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in Sociology. Her work began when she joined the Einstein Archives at Princeton University in 1970 and analyzed more than 42000 documents and archives. She has mainly written books on Albert Einstein. She was the editor of collected papers on Einstein. In 1995 she was awarded the LMP prize. Trevor Lipscombe is Editor-in-Chief at the Johns Hopkins University Press. He has done a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the Oxford University
