About The Author
S S Goyal, PhD, is Agronomy Specialist in the Department of Agronomy and Range Science at the University of California in Davis, where he received his Doctorate in Plant Physiology in 1975. He led a landmark nine-year study on the re-use of saline drainage water for crop irrigation in California's San Joaquin Valley and has authored numerous scientific papers. Dr. Goyal is a member of the American Society of Agronomy, the Crop Sceince Society of America, and the American Society of plant Biologists (formerly the American Society of Plant Physiologists).
