The poems in this volume are the authors personal windows through which she observes and records whatever catches her fancy. She is a poet of few words, completely in tune with the fast-moving world that has little time for excursions into ideas. They are based on observation, almost imagist in spirit, couching the flitting shadows of the pageantry of life in suggestive brevity. Delightful in their openness and simplicity of expression, they are endowed with an easy smartness that one can identify as innate urbanity. She is a natural poet, lines coming easily to her, not one to clamour for name and fame, but seeking poetry as a way of life.
