Surendra Nath Tripathi is a distinguished Civil Servant, currently Director General of Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. He is an IAS officer of 1985 batch (Odisha Cadre) and was Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India apart from holding other important positions. Shri Tripathi holds his Masters in Political Science from Allahabad University and MBA in Public Policy from Slovenia. He has a deep insight in the working of both Central and State Governments and has been a member of various Committees and Commissions dealing with Civil Services reforms.
